    A truck ...needs to find another load...., rather than return/returns empty.

    "A truck that has delivered its load needs to find another load for its journey back to home base, rather than
    return/returns empty"

    Please teachers, return or returns?

    ( I think returns but my grammar book says return )

    'return' is correct. "... needs to find ... rather than to return ..."
