    'Who' or 'Whom'

    Dear Sir,

What's the correct answer for the following question?

Tim: I want to have a birthday party at home.
Mum: ____________ do you want to invite?
Tim: I want to invite some of my classmates.

    Thanks!

Both are correct in contemporary English. Most people would use "who".

    Re: 'Who' or 'Whom'

A purist would insist on 'whom', but it would sound very stuffy to most of us speakers of BrE.
