    Question If

    Hello there,

    if a sentence is included with "if" what tense should we use? Present or past tense?

    for an example:
    1-1 if i go to china, i will buy a pen.
    2-2 if i went to china, i would buy a pen.

    They're both correct, but have different meaning. In the first, there's a real chance of going to China, while the second is much less likely.
