I have to choose one word that has a similar meaning with occasional.

I enjoy the occasional bar of chocolate a. regular, b. cool, c hot, d. large, e infrequent
Field trips were an occasional feature of the course a. celebratory b. speicial c. infrequent d habitual e regular.

I looked up the dictionary and I found only ' infrequent' is a synonym of occasion. Am I wrong? Please correct me if I am wrong

    Re: infrequent

'Infrequent' is the least wrong answer. Occasional happenings do not happen frequently, but we would not usually say they are infrequent happenings.
