    paraphrasing

I should correctly paraphrase this introduction paragraph, I'm grateful for anyone willing to help me correcting my sentence.

Original sentence: The charts below show the numbers of Japanese tourists travelling abroad between 1985 and 1995 and Australia's share of the Japanese tourist market

my sentence: The graphs compare average figures for Japanese tourists that visited a foreign country to the Australian quota of Japanese tourism from 1985 to 1995.

Thanks in advance, any suggestion is welcomed!

    Re: paraphrasing

These graphs illustrate the average numbers of Japanese tourists that travelled overseas and Australia's popularity as a tourist destination for them in the decade 1985-1995.
