    comparative - reduced

    Hi,

There are fewer leaves on the tree than there are yesterday. (In my opinion, it is OK)

I would like to ask whether I can reduce 'there are' in this example or not. Is only 'than yesterday' enough?

-There are fewer leaves on the tree than yesterday.

    Thanks.
