    correction

    Is it a correct sentence?
    My father and mother are a good couple.

    It's OK, but I would probably say "My mother and father make a good couple". However, "are" is not wrong.

    Note that in BrE, the usual word order used is "mother and father", "mum and dad", "mom and pop" etc. There's nothing wrong with "father and mother", it just sounds unnatural to a native speaker (to this one, anyway).
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
