In my free time, I love watching Korean soap opera on the Net. I’m also a big fan of K-pop. I like to watch the show played by new generation idol bands, such as Super Junior, Big Bang, Girls' Generation, Shinee, Wonder Girls, KARA, and so on.

In speaking of operatic music, opera is used as both the singular form and as a collective noun denoting the whole genre. Nobody would give the same respect to "soap opera". Therefore "soap operas" is better.
