It was correct in its day. 'Wages' meant something like 'reward'.

"Re:" is used on memos and correspondence to mean "regarding" or "in reference to."

It's used by some people in emails and text messages when they can't be bothered to type "about". Here's a message I received recently "Wot we gonna do re petrol dosh?"
It was a from a friend with whom I had shared a car journey and she wanted to know how we were going to share the cost of the petrol used on the trip. I would like to point out that I entirely disapprove of the way she writes text messages but I'm aware that I'm in something of a minority these days.

We would probably write the sentence differently nowadays, but for me it's correct because it's in the King James version, just like Shakespeare's correct. It's dated, but correct. I would only use it as a quote.
