[Grammar] please help me fix the grammar for my letter for extension of vacation

I am on a two months vacation from January 5th to March 5th. Due to my husbands arrival last February 24th i am requesting for two months extension oof my vacation, from Marcch 5th to May 5th for us to be together. He is also a seaman andd we often see each other. To prove this, iattached his contract of employment in this letter.
