Why are the threads in Ask a Techer getting jumbled?

Why are old threads popping up near the top of the list? At first I thought a moderator had been on an editing spree, but that does not seem to be the case.

I hadn't noticed that they were.

The order seems to be as it always was - based on when the last message was submitted.

I've noticed it too. Posts with new content are appearing randomly interspersed with ones on which nothing has happened for a few days.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I haven't seen this. What browsers are people using who are seeing this?

I'm using FF 20.0.1 and I've seen it too; also, I've seen situations where I couldn't see any of the threads I'd contributed to anywhere in the search string listing.

I'm on Chrome 10.1.6 (on a Mac running Mountain Lion if it makes any difference).

When you're looking at a forum listing, check the Thread Display Options that are located at the bottom of the page. I'd bet they are to blame...
I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.
