In 2003 with the olympic set to occur in China, tibetans...

"In 2003 with the Olympic set to occur in China, Tibetans marched through the street

    to appeal for their country."

I wonder if there are any errors in this sentence.

You need a comma after '2003' and a full stop at the end.

The Tibetans marched along the street or through/along the streets. They probably appealed for aid/help/assistance for, or liberation of, their country.
