place/ glue/fasten something in position vs place/ glue/fasten something in place

    Hello!

Do both phrases "place/ glue/fasten something in position" vs "place/ glue/fasten something in place"mean the same?

Re: place/ glue/fasten something in position vs place/ glue/fasten something in place

More or less. Be aware that placing something into position is not the same as making sure it stays there. You could place a cover into position and then fasten it with the screws.

And, of course, "place something in place" is a bit redundant.
