A verb used for vegetables and herbs, please.

    Hi there,

What is the name of the action when you're removing the damaged or discoloured pieces of herbs or cutting their long stems before washing them? Can we simply use 'clean'?

Re: A verb used for vegetables and herbs, please.

We usually "prepare" them. That covers washing, cleaning, trimming, paring, chopping, dicing, slicing etc.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
