    I agree that 'emotions' is less unlikely than 'sentiments', but the sentence just seems unnatural to me. As bhai said, it's possible, but I don't think (m)any native speakers would actually say this. I'm not sure what they would say (I am not into D & Ms). My attempt is: You just don't think/care about how I feel / about my feelings..

    Better suggestions most welcome.

    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
