    Please help me correct the following sentences.

    1. Zhao-Dong Elementary School makes a search for somebody.
    2. Who was the boy that passed through the hole of the ladder shown as the picture 50 years ago?

    1. The pupils and teachers of Zhao-Dong Elementary School search for somebody. (This probably should be in the past tense, unless it's a news item).

    Who was the boy who climbed through the ladder in this picture from 50 years ago?

    1. It's a news item.
    2. The ladder was put flatways on the ground, not erectly, so that the boy could squat down and put his head down to crawl through the hole of the ladder. Hence, the word 'climb' might not be acceptable here.

    Yes, that's still climbing through the ladder. But it probably doesn't matter if you've got the photo.
