    but him

    Hi,

    1. Everybody but him likes football. (It is OK)

    2. Everybody likes football but him.

    Can we put ''but him'' at the end of that sentence? Is sentence 2 OK?

    You will hear #2, but I think #1 is better because "but him" is directly related to "everybody".

    Yes, 2 sounds more natural.
