    cohesion and unity

    Hi everyone,

Can you help me to distinguish between "cohesion" and "unity"?

    Thank you very much.

They are pretty synonymous. The slight difference lies in connotation. Unity is a little more towards "We are all the same" and cohesion is a little more towards "We stick together in spite of our small differences."

But I emphasize that the difference is small. In most cases they are interchangeble.
