    Unhappy ad?!

    Hi,

What this sentence means? I'm in trouble with the words in violet.

A person might repeat a television ad heard sometimes in the past.

    Thanks

A person might repeat a television ad[vertisement] [which he/she had] heard sometime in the past.

Does that help? We regularly shorten "advertisement" to "ad".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
