Dear Teachers

I would like to know if there are some native English expressions or words to describe some people making unreasonable requests like a kid crying for candy/toy from their parents? For example: The request for such a high pay rise is unreasonable, your request is like a kid crying for candy"?

Regards

Anthony the learner

We have expressions that indicate asking for much more than a reasonable amount. Both "shoot the moon" and "go for broke" mean to attempt to get everything.
