    Explanation

    When we come across someone we 'greet' them ( welcome them); is it right to replace 'wish' with greet. Please explain with example

    This is the second time you have asked the same question.

    We don't know where you get the idea of "wish" from. There is nothing in the dictionary that gives the idea that the meaning of "wish" is the same as "greet."
