How many words? It sounds OK, but a lot depends on spacing and font size, so words would be an easier measure.
Hi everyone,
I really have written an appeal letter; however, it was about a sheet of paper and half.
So it is alright?
Any comments would be highly appreciated

Thank you very much
The total number of words were 395 words with a font size of 11.
Besides, I have created a letterhead with 13 lines and about 44 words.
The rest of letter has about 351 words.
It was OK with a font size of 11. However, it was broken up on two pages with a size font of 12.
So I do neither think that a letter with a font size of 11 is OK, nor with a page and half with a size font of 12.

It really depends on what you're appealing against. If it's something simple such as a bank charge, then perhaps you have overdone it. However, if it's something extremely important, like a legal matter, in which you are making a lot of legal points or quoting precedents, then it could be absolutely fine.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
