use of "as" with a comma

We will see him back in 1 month with a repeat x-ray of his right ankle at that time, as the fracture line is still visible.

Does the comma go before "as" in this sentence or not?

Re: use of "as" with a comma

It is fine where you put it, and it can't go anywhere else.
