Hi teachers,

I'm suffering from dysentery.
I'm suffering from diarhoea. What's the difference?

I have a diarhoea. Is it correct?

Look up "diarrhoea" (note the spelling) and "dysentery" in a good dictionary. They are not the same. The first is a symptom. The second is an illness. No article is needed. We just say "I have diarrhoea" or "I am suffering from diarrhoea".

It is indeed "dysentery". I missed the misspelling the first time (and then copied it!) I've now edited my first response too.

They are. And in south Asia, people often say "My stomach is out."
