In most areas of the US there are adult literacy programs available at no cost. Many of these programs are what we call "drop in centers". At these centers you can speak to a tutor and ask questions about English. Depending on the need in the community, some of these centers have set up English classes which you can join. In addition, many community colleges offer English as a second language (ESL) classes. These classes do cost money but they are generally inexpensive. As you advance in your knowledge of English you may want to join a club called Toastmasters. As a member of Toastmasters you can give speeches in English and the other members will critique your speeches.
