    Unhappy simologically

    I just can't understand the meaning of the sentence below, would anyone help me to understand it? I', in trouble with the underlined words:

    The props and the requisites are multifunctional, and semeiologically speaking " do read" differently accordingly to the way they are used.

    The word is semiologically. Look that up in a dictionary and then come back to us if you are still in doubt.
