Think about how far you went to do or achieve something, some of which may have been negative.

Welcome to the forums, xuchen hou.:-D

Please note the correct way to ask a question:

What does [STRIKE]means[/STRIKE] "consider the lengths you went to" mean?

Please note also that a better title would have been 'consider the lengths you went to'.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Thank you very much. I am going to be studying hard and will keep what you said in mind.

Always capitalise I and the first word of every sentence.

Thousands of thanks indeed! [strike]Accoreding[/strike] According to my current capability in English, I have often to log in to find out what I have been missing.

There is no need to make a new post to say "Thank you". Just click the "Like" button on a post which you found helpful. Please look at my amendments to your post above.

- Start every sentence with a capital letter.
- End every sentence with a single punctuation mark.
- Always capitalise the word "I".
- Put a space after a full stop, comma, question mark or exclamation mark.

Check your spelling before you post. I am sure you know that the word is "thanks" not "thinks".

I am not sure what you mean with your final sentence. You have to log in to this site in order to read posts which have been made since your last visit but that has nothing to do with your "capability in English".
