What does 'here we are' mean in the context below? What does it normally mean?
"Harry: That's true. Harry Bennett, Certfied public accountant. I love numbers. I do some work for Smith and Dale, your company's accounting firm.
Susan: And so...
Harry: Here we are.

This is dialogue from a TV show episode called Blind Date.
The circumstances are that two people on a blind date have just told each other what they do for a living.
As is common in such situations, there is an awkwardness in the conversation.

I think the woman says "And so…" just to keep the conversation going.
The man then replies, "Here we are", with the sense of, "And so… now we find ourselves having dinner together".
