    Christmas sale vs Christmas sales

    Hi,

Is there any difference between Christmas sale and Christmas sales?

for example: The Christmas sale or sales are starting soon.

If you are talking about multiple shops which will each be holding their own sale, then "The Christmas sales are starting soon". If it's just one shop, you would say "The Christmas sale is starting soon".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: Christmas sale vs Christmas sales

In addition, 'Christmas sales' can have a diffferent meaning entirely, as in 'Christmas sales were down last year'.
