Post Right position of words in a sentence

Do you remember when you were so little you went with us to see the fireworks by the river?

Do you remember going to the river side fireworks with us when you were so little?
I am not sure where to put the under lined words in the above sentences. Please help. Thanks

In both sentences, the word "so" is misused.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
