Hi everyone, a small question please.
Are any of these sentences wrong and if they are or if there is a difference, please give some explanation.
Thanks a lot.

1.It depends how you do it.
2.It depends on how you do it.

3. It depends how you live.
4. It depends on how you live.

I would use "on" in both cases.

I find all four of them natural. There is no necessity for "on". MikeNewYork might have a personal preference for using "on" but it is not required.
