    Is it gramatically correct to write the following sentences?
    1) Your password had been reset.
    or
    2) Your password has been reset.

    In my opinion you should say
    your password has been reset : consequence now you have a new password

    your passoword had been reset before being changed : for an action which came before another one in the past
