Hi All, 'use' and 'usage' seem to have the same meaning as nouns to me. However, I suspect there might be some subtle distinctions between them. Can anyone tell the difference? Thanks

I think the former is simply descriptive of any kind of utilization whereas the latter implies a customary fashion, a community sanction, and a normative stamp of approval.
