decided that the company should be sold in May

    Can one use:
1-They decided that the company should be sold in May.

    instead of:
1a-In May, they decided that the company should be sold.

    Can one use:
2-She told me that she talked to John after she came back from Italy.

    instead of:
2a-After she came back from Italy, she told me that she talked to John.

    Gratefully,
    Navi.

Re: decided that the company should be sold in May

In 1, the company is going to be sold in May.

In 1a, they decided in May that the company should be sold, but we don't know when.

Apply the same reasoning to 2 and 2a.
