Hello,

I'm currently sending out resumes and CLs. I see that people are struggling awfully with my 'original' name. To make their life easier, I thought that I can leave a special note in italics, in the email or covering letter, how they can call me in British way.

As I'm contacting with companies it must be professionally written not like 'btw call me e.g. James'...

Could you please help me with it? What note shoud I put?

Can I write something like:

- Please address me ...?

I have no idea how to write it properly, even in my native language. :-(

Thank you in advance

Peter

Please call me "Peter".

Please address me as "Peter".

I know my name is difficult to pronounce so please feel free to call me "Peter".

Thanks for help. I will choose 'address'.

I found one more thing. AKA which is too infromal for my taste and in general in British English but I think 'also known as' is more appropriate. However, in this context sounds bit artificial.

I think "please address me as..." is rather imperious.

You could try this: Hard name "Peter" hard name. That is, put Peter in quotes between the names. Then if they call, they can ask for "Peter" and you haven't given them any commands.
