    Which VS That

    Hello!

Would it make a difference to use 'that' in the following sentence?

A peace agreement signed in April 2002 ended the 25-year-old civil war that devastated Angola, WHICH is still unstable and unsuitable for travel.

I know that, in some cases, 'which' and 'that' can be used interchangeably. Is this one of such cases?

    Cheers,
    Tito

    In your example, no.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I believe he meant that "that" could not be used.

    Re: Which VS That

Sorry, I had read your question as "Can I use 'that' instead of 'which'?" However, that clearly was not your question. In answer to "Does it make a difference if I use ...?", the answer is "Yes, it does".
