    worked up - definition of worked up by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.

    It was the thing about which he was completely (all) worked up.

    It can mean several things. If you're all worked up about something, then it has elicited a strong response from you - anger, excitement, enthusiasm, dread.

    I'm going to see my favourite band on Saturday night. I'm all worked up about it already! (Excitement)
    My cousin is terrified of flying. He's going on a plane next month and he's all worked up about it now. (Fear/dread)
    Stop shouting. There's no need to get all worked up about the situation. (Anger)
    I have a meeting with my boss tomorrow which she says is important. I just can't get worked up about it. (Enthusiasm or, in this case, lack of it).
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
