I've made a big Chinglish mistake, actually,I want to ask if 'why is it me' is equal to 'why me'.

Thanks!

"Why me?" means why is this happening/has this happened to me, when the happening is known.

"Why is it me" is used when you are going to specify the happening. For example "Why is it always me you turn to in times of trouble?"

It's a very simplified way of asking why is it one person, and not another. It questions the choice of which person should be doing (or not doing) something.
I think the most popular usage of "why (person)" is best shown by example:

Mom: Go mow the lawn.
Son: Why me? (meaning, why not my brother?)
Mom: Because your brother is doing homework.

A: I was talking in class, but the teacher scolded Kim.
B: Why her?
A: Because the teacher thought she was the one talking.

A: John asked Jennifer to the dance.
B: Why not you? (It's expected that John should be asking you to the dance, not somebody else)
A: Because he knew that I have to work that night.
