If you force it to fly, can you use the word "flown" to describe it as an adjective?

    For example,
if we're talking about a number of birds caged some place, after you set them free, can you say "the birds are flown", "flown birds fill the sky"?
I looked up the term flown as an adjective and it was defined as "filled to excess"
I don't mean to say "filled to excess" I mean to say "it's been set to fly" which are two different meanings, and also I don't want to use flown as a verb in my sentences.
    Does it work?
