    Predicate Adjective

I like to ask about the predicate adjective. From internet, they said that the predicate adjective come only after several verbs which are: is, become, seem, grow, turn, prove, look, feel, smell, taste, sound, appear, stay, keep, and remain . This mean predicate adjective can only use after those verb or before noun. Am I right?

    Re: Predicate Adjective

You are partially right, but you should study more about predicate adjectives.
Here are two examples: He is happy. My grandfather is old.
Happy and Old are the predicate adjectives.
    Best wishes....

    Re: Predicate Adjective

Most adjectives can be used before a noun or after one of these verbs. There are a few that can only be used in one position- we can say the main street, but not the street is main.
