Recently, I have been discussing with my friends about how accurate native speakers can change their accents. One of the voice recordings that has come under our discussion is the reading of Jane Eyre by narrator Elizabeth Klett. Some of my friends, who are non-native speakers, believed it's a British accent without knowing that Elizabeth Klett is actually American!
I post the link to the audiobook on youtube below. How does her accent sound to you in this recording? Do you think she has changed her accent to British style successfully?

Not all actors' accents are convincing, but there are coaches who coach actors on accents and dialects.
Some actors are very good. I imagine a lot of Americans don't know that Dr. House is British.
It sounds like an American trying to sound British.
