court action & his Liverpool dispute

Luis Suarez will consider submitting a formal transfer request and the possibility of court action if his Liverpool dispute is not resolved. say sources close to the player.

    1) Does "court action" mean taking legal action?

    2) I know the meaning of dispute which is an official argument of disagreement. But I couldn't understand "his Liverpool dispute".

    1. Yes.
    2. Luis Suarez plays soccer for the Liverpool team. Evidently he has a problem with management.

Re: court action & his Liverpool dispute

I still can't understand the second point :(

Can I replace "his Liverpool dispute" by
    1- his and Liverpool dispute?
    2- his dispute with Liverpool?

His Liverpool dispute means his dispute with the management of the Liverpool FC. In this case Liverpool functions as an adverb of place
