    to agree to differ on it

    Hi everyone,
    Situation: People expressing 2 different opinions, one of them saying:-"Well, we'll have to agree to differ on it."
    How should I understand this phrase? Thank you.

    We will accept the fact that we have different opinions and leave it at that. We won't argue about it. You have your opinion. I have my opinion. Those opinions do not agree. That is fine.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
