Please can anyone check the following sentences whether the they are correct or wrong.

I went on a trip for four days.
I went on a four-day trip.

Grammatically OK. A slight difference between the two might be that a "four-day trip" could be one that is scheduled/advertised as such e.g. a tour/excursion.
