    could or can

    What are you guys up to? Oh, dress shopping. You know, I make wedding cakes for a lot of fancy bridal shops. If you want, I could take you shopping, maybe get you a discount.

    Can I replace could with can in this sentence? If not, what is the difference between them? I guess they have a slight nuance difference. do they?
