    Re: Which sentence is correct?

Both are intelligible and correct, but neither is the most natural way of expressing the thought.

I don't know what the point of doing that is.

Please note that a better title would have been 'what the point is/what is the point.'

    Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Some of the English sentences on that page are incorrect.

    Re: Which sentence is correct?

Is the sentence 'I don't know what is your name?' correct? Shouldn't it be 'I don't know what your name is?'?
So,are both 'I don't know what is the point of doing that.' and 'I don't know what the point of doing that is.' correct?

    Thanks a lot!

    Re: Which sentence is correct?

I don't consider 'I don't know what is your name' (no question mark) or 'I don't know what is the point of doing that' to be correct.
