    Appropriate preposition

What preposition will be used with the verb bankrupt?

Nobody on earth will go bankrupt by publishing your poems.(Is the use of the preposition "by" is correct here?)

Do you mean that nobody will want to risk bankruptcy by publishing the poems?

In your example "bankrupt" is not a verb.
