    Post as well as

    Hi,

Could anyone please explain to me what the below sentence means? I'm in trouble with "as well as"

The exergy of the outlet air stream constantly increas due to the higher temperature as well as the humidity ratios that are achieved.

    What's the role of "that"?

    Re: as well as

The energy of the outlet air stream constantly increases due to the higher temperature in addition to the humidity ratios which are achieved.

'That' is a relative pronoun and, for many of us, more natural than 'which' in defining relative clauses.
