    Please tell me if the following phrase is correct:

    No combined connections are permitted, in which force is endured both by welded seams and by bolts.

    The meaning is that any combined connections, where some force is endured by welded seams and the remaining force by bolts, are not admitted.

    Put the definition after the term, not a long way away from it.
