Student or Learner
For my Biology coursework, I write up an investigation. I have made my own tables, graphs, diagrams (etc.) using normal drawing materials as well as computer programs (excel and Google SketchUp).
Do I need to reference myself, since I have created them solely for this report (the data and such in the graphs and tables are also all my own from my own practical work that I came up with)
Please help! :)
If you have created these things for your coursework, you have nothing to reference.
I agree with the above. However, I don't think it can hurt to write a line somewhere saying, "All illustrations are original/mine" - possibly after the first reference to Figure 1.
I've noticed a few of my essays with "?ref" written on them when I give my opinion which I know is true from life experience.
But, no, you don't reference yourself in "References".
